AlphaNet, Inc. is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 1995 with a mission to provide innovative health management and customized care to individuals with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency while funding research for a cure. To date, we have contributed over $70 million to the Alpha-1 Foundation for Alpha-1 research.

AlphaNet currently offers targeted health management services to individuals who are affected by alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency. Subscribers in our Alpha-1 Disease Management and Prevention (ADMAP) program are assigned a Coordinator based on the augmentation therapy prescribed for them and their geographic location. For Alphas who are not currently on augmentation therapy, we offer another program called REACH. REACH also offers support for parents or caregivers of children with Alpha-1.

Our motto is “Alphas Serving Alphas.” We live out our motto by connecting Alphas with AlphaNet Coordinators. Each AlphaNet Coordinator has alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency which makes them uniquely qualified to understand the issues and concerns of others living with Alpha-1. Our Coordinators are located across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. and are expertly trained to provide top-of-the-line, free disease management services to our Alpha subscribers while connecting them with educational resources, clinical trial opportunities, local support groups, and more.

In order to help Alphas, their physicians, caregivers, and loved ones better understand alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, AlphaNet developed the Big Fat Reference Guide to Alpha-1 (BFRG). Written and compiled by Alpha-1 medical experts, Alpha-1 caregivers, and Alphas themselves, the BFRG contains all the most important information Alphas need to lead the best quality lives possible. To register for access to the BFRG, visit bfrg.alphanet.org. Those enrolled in AlphaNet’s Subscriber Portal can access the BFRG at subscriber.alphanet.org.
